In order to reserve an apartment, please  send a reservation request by email.  If the property is available, a contract will then be sent to you, which you can return by email.  A 20% deposit by Visa, Mastercard, American Express or Discover is required to secure a reservation. The balance of the rental is due upon arrival in cash or traveler's check.  Here are some of the  terms and conditions specified in the contract: 

DEPOSIT:   For our properties, a damage deposit of between $400-1000 dolllars is required and secured with a credit card authorization on arrival.  The security deposit is tied to our policies of no smoking, no pets and no large parties policy.  While we are a family friendly agency, the nature of the furnishings and decoration implies a potential risk of deterioration by children (felt pen markings that are not removable, breakage that is beyond normal wear and tear, etc.). The client accepts responsibility for these risks via the damage deposit.   

INSURANCE: Cloud Nine Rentals and that of the apartment hosts cannot be implied in any case such as accident, loss, robbery slip or fall or other. Please refer or subscribe to a travel insurance policy such as CSA travel protection or also common on most major credit cards.   

CLEANING:  The apartment will be thoroughly clean when you arrive, and we request it be left tidy when you depart.
All apartments are strictly non-smoking.  In addition, no large parties, large numbers of guests or pets are allowed.  

CANCELLATION POLICY: The cancellation policy of Cloud Nine Rentals is the following and specific to the actual property unit: 

If you cancel the reservation for an apartment more than 6 weeks prior to the scheduled arrival date, including week and weekend days, you will be reimbursed the 20% deposit.  If you cancel the reservation for an apartment within the 6 week period immediately prior to my scheduled arrival date, you forfeit the deposit.  If you cut short or cancel your stay once you have occupied the apartment, you understand that no refund will be possible; and you further understand that you will be liable for any damages caused during rental period and discovered during check-out.  

We will inform you prior to your reservation if a damage deposit is requested by an apartment host, The charge will be originated by "Cloud Nine Rentals".  The card details will remain on file for the duration of the rental period to serve as a security deposit against any damage (up to a maximum of $1,000 dollars) to the apartment caused by me during the rental period, including damage to towels and linen that are not removable. Card details will be removed from file once the rental period is terminated and any damages have been paid.
